My own healing journey began in 2020, when I stepped back from hustle culture and leaned into adventure, self-discovery, and deep, intentional growth. Since then, I’ve made it my mission to help others break free from limiting beliefs, reconnect with their creativity, and design a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.

My WHY and Vision
behind this retreat...
If you know me, you know that SE Asia holds a massive place in my heart. So much so I just purchased land in Thailand and I built a home there this year!! I’ve been there more times than I can count (okay, literally 14 times) soaking up the culture, the beauty, and the deep sense of connection that it brings. The first and second Play With Purpose retreats in Koh Samui + Ubud, Bali weren't just generic getaways for folks—they were life-changing experiences for literally everyone involved, including me. It was a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate what really matters: joy, creativity, and human connection. It was moving.
At Play with Purpose I watch groups of brilliant, courageous individuals let go of their “shoulds” and embrace the magic of play. We laugh until our faces hurt, try new things, explore the land, and build bonds that are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The experiences remind me of something I’ve always known but hadn’t fully realized until these retreats were born—play isn’t just fun, it’s transformative.
It shakes off the heaviness, clears the mental clutter, and opens up space for growth, creativity, and clarity. That’s why Play With Purpose exists—to create a space where you can tap into that playful energy, reconnect with yourself, and leave with a deeper sense of purpose.
This 3rd time around, we’re taking that vision back to Koh Samui. Back to the serene, soul-nurturing atmosphere of this super special Thai island I'm absolutely in loooove with.

Helping others have those moments of transformation is what fuels me. It’s what lights me up.
This isn’t just a trip or a workshop. It’s an opportunity to reconnect—to joy, to adventure, to yourself. And when we give ourselves that gift, we show up stronger, more inspired, and more aligned with our purpose. Meet your retreat co-creators
Rae Okino is a holistic wellness practitioner specializing as a Certified Somatic Coach & Facilitator, Reiki & Qi Gong Master, Sound Healer, and Laughter Therapist. Through these modalities, Rae promotes balance, healing, and self-discovery for those seeking embodied living and nervous system regulation. As a musician, artist, and DJ, Rae co-creates community experiences and retreats centered on the themes of Pause & Play. Founded in June 2024 after a period of personal grief, Rae’s mission is to honor their sister's legacy by uplifting others through love, laughter, and liberation.
Kimberly Ibbotson is a visionary artist, content creator, and photographer known for her ability to craft compelling narratives through imagery.
Celebrated for her editorial hair and creative color work, Kimberly has seamlessly transitioned into photography and visual storytelling. Most recently, she brought her talents to the first-ever Play with Purpose retreat in Thailand, capturing the raw beauty of human connection, creativity, and adventure. Her growing focus on lifestyle photography reflects her passion for storytelling beyond a single industry.

-Sea or poolside accommodations are available for an uncharge to be collected from Samahita directly.
CANCELLATION & TRANSFER POLICY
- Deposits and payments are non-refundable once room types sell out.
- If you cannot attend your funds may be transferred to a future retreat or another attendee for a future Play with Purpose or a 1:1 coaching container, minus the 25% deposit.
TRAVEL & ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
✈️ Valid Passport Required – Attendees must have a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond their arrival in Bali.
🚨 Travel Insurance Strongly Recommended – Coverage for trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and travel delays is advised.
🔍 Check Visa Requirements– Some nationalities may require a visa for entry into Thailand. None required for US/CA at this time.
